 Dear Current America Poem

Dear Current America

This poem is for you, for all citizens from Ali, Carlos, Susan to Erica

I said I’m talking to all citizens

Inhabitants, residents and denizens

We need righteousness

Which is only through Jesus the king of kings the heavenly highness

He is the medicine

For our many sins

He can heal this sin sick nation

We also need to respect and love each other

Yeah, I said respect and love I didn’t stutter

We need to come to Jesus and learn how to treat our enemies like a beloved sister and brother

And we gotta get racial justice through reparations

For all the forced free labor blacks experienced which was straight exploitation

Plus for the land theft Native Americans experienced which was straight depredation

Both groups went through alot of pain and suffering and unjust punishment

From an unjust country and federal government

So spread the word about these issues and remember them when you pray

Because righteousness, respect and love and racial justice can improve America  today
